Achieving climate ambitions through the circular economy

One of the stepping stones leading from CAS 2021 last January to COP26 this November and beyond, the World Circular Economy Forum + Climate on 15-16 April is a virtual conference where leaders and stakeholders will discuss the crucial role of a circular economy in achieving climate neutrality.

The WCEF+Climate programme wil feature over a dozen of online sessions on themes including decent work in materials recycling, the climate-finance nexus, industry innovation and the Sustainable Development Goals, and will integrate the perspectives of youth, businesses, and developing countries.

Especially interesting from the point of view of the Adaptation Action Agenda – the main deliverable of CAS 2021 – is the WCEF+Climate session on Friday 16 April, 11:30-12:30 CEST, “Realising our Climate Ambitions: Circular Economy in National Climate Plans”.
